Cylinder Head Bolt 0204.C1

Maintain proper engine compression and reliable head gasket sealing with the genuine cylinder head bolt (part 0204.C1). Manufactured to PSA’s exact specifications, this high-strength fastener ensures uniform clamping force across the cylinder head, preventing leaks and preserving engine integrity.

Key Benefits

  • Exact OEM Specification
Forged and threaded to original PSA dimensions and tolerances for seamless fitment—no re-torquing or resizing required.

  • High-Strength Alloy Steel
Heat-treated to deliver superior yield strength and fatigue resistance under repeated thermal and mechanical cycling.

  • Precision Torque Control
Engineered thread profile and head design provide consistent preload when tightened to the manufacturer’s torque sequence, ensuring uniform gasket compression.

  • Corrosion-Resistant Finish
Zinc-nickel plating protects the bolt from corrosion, extending service life in harsh under-hood environments.

  • Durable Sealing
Maintains uniform clamping pressure over time, preventing coolant or oil leaks at the cylinder head interface.

Installation Overview

  1. Clean Threads: Remove old bolts and clean head and block bolt holes of debris.

  2. Position Head Gasket: Lay the new gasket on the block, align dowels carefully.

  3. Insert Bolts: Hand-thread bolts finger-tight in the correct pattern.

  4. Torque Sequence: Tighten in three stages—first to 30 Nm, then to 60 Nm, and finally an additional 90° turn each, following PSA’s cross-pattern sequence.

  5. Verify: After engine warm-up, re-check bolt angles to ensure proper preload and leak-free sealing.
